Saina turns 10

In the latest rankings released by the Badminton World Federation on Thursday, Saina Nehwal reached yet another milestone as she broke into the world’s top 10 ranked players. While her rise to the No. 10 spot has been spectacular, it has not been surprising. In fact, Saina has been touted as a potential world champion and we wish her a title-packed 2009.

Update (December 8, 2008): Saina Nehwal has become the first Indian woman shuttler to be named as the Most Promising Player of 2008 by the Badminton World Federation (BWF).
